Aspyn and I grew up going to the same schools as each other but never really crossed paths until her freshmen year of high school. It all began with a simple snapchat post of Aspyn's new puppy, Benji. I ended up sliding up on her story. Little did we know that playful interaction would be the start of something that will last forever. We went from hanging out as friends to introducing each other to our families. And on August 2nd of 2019, I asked Aspyn to be my girlfriend. We went through the rest of high school together and are now taking on college together. We take pride in the family we have built between the two of us and our two dogs Benji and Blue in our apartment we call home.

Jan 19th, 2024, during trip to Eugene, Oregon, I took the next step in our journey together. I asked Aspyn to marry me, and she said yes! We can't wait to start on this new chapter as Aspyn and Evan Hobbs.
